Preheat oven to 375℉
Brown ground beef, Drain well and place back into pan.
Add taco seasoning and water, cook over medium low heat until sauce starts to thicken.
Place the mixture into the bottom of the casserole dish.
Drain chili beans but do not rinse, place on top of the ground beef mixture.
Seed and finely dice jalapeno.
Cut green onions into small ringlets.
Prepare cornbread mix using egg and buttermilk.
Add pimento cheese, jalapeno, green onion, and southwest style seasoning.
Mix until well incorporated.
Pour over ground beef/beans and bake for 35-40 minutes.
