Pimento Cheese Cauliflower Steaks

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Slices Cauliflower Thick
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper
  • 1 Large Tomato Sliced
  • 8 Ounce Pimento Cheese Musten & Crutchfield
  • 3 Ounces Mozzarella Cheese Grated
  • 6 Slices Bacon Fried & Chopped
  • Basil (Option)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 400°
  • Place the Cauliflower slices on a lined baking tray & drizzle with oil
  • Season with salt and pepper, and place in the oven for around 20 minutes
  • When fairly soft and slightly crispy around the edges
  • Turnover and cook an additional 10 minutes
  • Remove from the oven
  • Spread ¼ of Pimento Cheese on each piece of Cauliflower
  • Add a couple of slices of tomato to each piece of Cauliflower, then add the grated cheese & fried chopped bacon
  • Place back in the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and/or slightly crispy
  • Serve topped with fresh basil if desired
