Pimento Cheese Cauliflower Steaks
Ingredients
- 4 Slices Cauliflower Thick
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- Salt & Pepper
- 1 Large Tomato Sliced
- 8 Ounce Pimento Cheese Musten & Crutchfield
- 3 Ounces Mozzarella Cheese Grated
- 6 Slices Bacon Fried & Chopped
- Basil (Option)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°
- Place the Cauliflower slices on a lined baking tray & drizzle with oil
- Season with salt and pepper, and place in the oven for around 20 minutes
- When fairly soft and slightly crispy around the edges
- Turnover and cook an additional 10 minutes
- Remove from the oven
- Spread ¼ of Pimento Cheese on each piece of Cauliflower
- Add a couple of slices of tomato to each piece of Cauliflower, then add the grated cheese & fried chopped bacon
- Place back in the oven for 5 minutes until the cheese is fully melted and/or slightly crispy
- Serve topped with fresh basil if desired
