In 1938, John Musten and Dace Crutchfield opened Musten & Crutchfield in Kernersville, NC, with a vision to provide quality, affordable groceries to our neighbors. From those humble beginnings, we’ve grown into a family-owned cornerstone, celebrated for our “World’s Best Pimento Cheese” and a curated selection of North Carolina’s finest foods. What started as a local grocer blossomed into a trusted household name, sharing our handcrafted specialties, like pimento cheese, with retailers, restaurants, and markets across the state.
